Today, the nation is celebrating its 79th Independence Day, with Prime Minister Narendra Modi leading the festivities. This marks his 12th consecutive speech from the historic Red Fort in Delhi. Honoring the Constitution's Martyrs

Prime Minister Modi expressed, "From the ramparts of the Red Fort today, I respectfully salute the framers of our Constitution who guided the nation. We also celebrate the 125th birth anniversary of Dr. Syama Prasad Mukherjee, the first great man who sacrificed for the Constitution. By dismantling Article 370, we paid true homage to Dr. Mukherjee's legacy. Today, many distinguished individuals are present at the Red Fort, including representatives from remote villages, drone sisters, and sports personalities, all contributing to the nation. In a way, I see a miniature India before my eyes. Today, the Red Fort is also connected to India through technology."

Prime Minister Modi stated, "Dear citizens of India, this festival of freedom represents the resolve of 1.4 billion people. It is a moment filled with collective achievement, pride, and joy. The nation is continuously strengthening the spirit of unity. Today, 1.4 billion citizens are immersed in the colors of the tricolor..."

Saluting the Brave Soldiers

During his address, Prime Minister Modi saluted the brave soldiers who have dealt with terrorism beyond imagination. He expressed solidarity with those affected by natural disasters, acknowledging that nature is testing us all.

Operation Sindoor

On Friday, Prime Minister Modi remarked that Operation Sindoor is a manifestation of the anger that arose in the country following the Pulwama terror attack, leading to significant repercussions in Pakistan. He emphasized that India will no longer tolerate 'nuclear blackmail.' Modi stated, "I take great pride in saluting the heroes of Operation Sindoor. Our brave soldiers have dealt with the enemies beyond their imagination." He noted that the massacre by terrorists in Pulwama filled the entire nation with outrage and astonished the world. He concluded, "Operation Sindoor is a reflection of that anger."
